"My first concern is for my family, especially my parents and father-in-law who are part of the vulnerable population. My friends and I have had incredible difficulties getting our parents to take this seriously. I'm feeling immense concern for the people that make San Francisco feel like home: my fellow arts and culture workers, performers, small business owners and mom n' pop restaurant owners. That's to say nothing about the truly big things, like the City's unhoused populations, people sheltered in place in unsafe situations, the overburdening of the health care system, the election. I'm taking each day and trying to do whatever's actually in my control to make a difference. It's crucial that we're there for each other and rise to the occasion."
